Lavandula hybrida grosso, L. fragrans, L. hortensis (Family, Lamiaceae [Labiatae]) - France - Lavandin is a hybrid plant, a cross between true lavender and spike lavender. The oil has camphoraceous, herbaceous, floral aroma. Used in many types of perfumes, and soaps. Blends well with other oils including cypress, geranium, citronella, clove, cinnamon leaf, pine, thyme and patchouli.
